3.2.2 Power Requirements
Each component of the CMS must be powered by the specified power source.
To protect the hospital personnel from electric shock, the CMS (including the host and
displays) and its recorder must have their casings properly grounded. The host of the CMS
is provided with a 3-wire power cable, which must be plugged into a properly grounded
3-wire receptacle. If a 3-wire, grounded receptacle is not available, consult the hospital
electrician.
WARNING
z Make sure that the operating environment and power source of the CMS meet
the specific requirements; otherwise, unexpected consequences, e.g. damage to
the equipment, may result.
z Appropriate power supply must be selected according to the setup of the system
power voltage; otherwise, serious damage may be caused to the system.
z Never use a 3-wire to 2-wire adapter with any unit of the CMS.
3.2.3 Installation
Manufacturer designated personnel will install the CMS for you. If you want to move your
system to another place, contact our company.
WARNING
z We shall assume no responsibility for any loss caused by installing or moving the
CMS without our permission.
3.2.3.1 Installation for Remote Display
The CMS supports the display of local video on remote display through VGA video
extension device.
Transmitter
1. Receive the VGA signal of the CMS into the VGA interface of INPUTS of transmitter.
2. Connect the local display of the CMS with the VGA interface of OUTPUTS of
transmitter.
3. Connect one end of network cable with the RJ45 OUT interface of transmitter.
4. Connect the power adapter with the POWER interface of transmitter.
